July 2010
(these reports are displayed as most recent first)
1st - 23rd July
June was a tormenting Month, very little rain and no FISH . Now here in July we've had Rain and the fishing has taken off with bags of Fish even Bream, good size Hybrids and plenty of good Roach as well as top quality Perch, and now over the last few days good Rudd.
Coreen Forde has been a Hot Spot on the River Suck lately, where Peter Wood has done very well with good bags of Fish; Roach and Hybrids, The River Inny at Red bridge has had an uptake in good fishing upstream from the bridge under the power cables (100yds) on the left-hand bank fishing float tactics mid stream.

Large Bream were taken at a undisclosed venue by Peter and a friend from England and he kindly produced some fine pictures for us to update the web.

Myself , Chris and Frank know of this venue and Frank spent time here and bagged up on good Hybrids and Roach unfortunately no Bream on those trips.
Chris have been to a Private Lake around Mullingar and had large Carp, Tench as well Rudd and large Eels thrown in for good measure.

More good news on the Inny, at the entrance, float fishing as well as fishing the lead / Feeder to have some great sport for a few hours several evenings baited with Worm, Maggots and a combination of both produced good bags of Small Bream, Roach, mighty Perch and Hybrid to the weight of 3/4lbs.

I myself have had a torrid time over the last month with small medical problems and hope to be back on the bank very soon, I did get round to find our local Peregrines with the camera:

More rain over the last day or two have replenished the rivers and lakes back to their real potential so lets hope there's going to be more positive reporting.
