Things have settled down quite a lot on the weather front this month, the river has returned to the spring levels and the general temperatures are very pleasant.
Some fishing trips have been made to Tommy Foxe's over the last few weeks, swims around the 20/24 have had no fish up to now, The Bog Hole proved to be similar, I am going to put this down to water temperature, but now things should improve.
I have walked the banks of the Canal at Abbyshrule for 2 weeks now looking for signs of movements, very little up to now, The same result came from the Canal locally ( Branigan's) but I will continue this Virgil.
There have been inquiries about the Spring Fishing around our patch from anglers wishing to return or try-out, lets hope it will be fruitful this year.
