We have managed to get a bit behind again in the updating due to problems with the hosting company.
Alas there have been no fish to report on, the weather has been cold, very cold and freezing, with upto 1 foot of ice on some of the local spots.
Doonis lough froze about 30 meters out from the edge and we really didnt fancy breaking the ice for fishing. There has been better news on the wildlife with mice and rats appearing in large numbers looking for anywhere warm to hide, the birds are flooding into the gardens and eating so fast that the 10 bird feeders are being emptied every other day.
The Golden Years Christmas party was a great success, and a very good time was had by all. Click here for photos
